The Toronto School of Music Canada is one
of the largest private international conservatories of music in Canada,
offering instruction in classical, contemporary and jazz music.
We take pride in our distinguished
artistic faculty who, in addition to providing the highest, professional
training, are noted for the attention they give to each individual
student's needs. We are also fortunate to be able to offer
master-classes, conducted by internationally, renowned artists.
The accomplishments of our students are
inspirational. Upon graduation, many of them become soloists in
major concert halls, leading opera houses, orchestras and ensembles.
The City of Toronto is a wonderful place
in which to live and learn. Toronto also offers our students varied
and outstanding performance opportunities during their years of study with
us.
Two divisions of the Toronto School of
Music serve the musical needs of the community. The preparatory division
offers instruction in all instruments, musicianship, theory, ensemble
performance and pre-instrumental instruction for pupils between four and eighteen
years of age.
The extension division serves the needs
of adults who wish to pursue music for their own enjoyment as well as
professionals who seek to refine their musical skills or add new
ones. This division encompasses classical music and Jazz studies and
includes a curriculum leading to the award of a Diploma or advanced
certificate.
I wish each and every one of you the very
best of luck in your decision-making and look forward to seeing you become
a proud and participating member of the Toronto School of Music Canada.
